About Dj Wiky
Dj Wiky, né en 1981 dans le quartier de Brooklyn à New York, est un Dj Franco-Américain. La famille Wiky déménage à Montreuil ( France ) alors que celui ci est encore un nourrisson.
Au milieu des années 1990, Wiky a l’idée d’adapter à la France le concept qui a consolidé la notoriété du hip hop new-yorkais, celui des mix tapes. Il mixe les dernières nouveautés seul dans sa chambre et obtient rapidement une certaine notoriété notamment auprès de ses voisins.
Parallèlement à l'obtention du brevet des collèges, Wiky commence alors à enregistrer des cassettes de mix « faites maison ». La Série des PIM PAM POUM est née. Il remporte plusieurs disques d'or et un Grammy Award. Ayant débuté sa carrière en tant que Dj, il pratique aussi le Basket à haut niveau et est élu NBA Most Valuable Player en 1998 avec une moyenne de33,5 points par match, dont 45 dans le match décisif . Par sympathie, il offre le trophée à son pote Michael Jordan.
Aujourd'hui il se consacre pleinement à sa carrière d'artiste et vous propose le PIM PAM POUM Podcast ou vous retrouverez les meilleurs sons mixés par ses soins.

DJ Wiky born March 1981 in Brooklyn NY, is an American/French DJ. The Wiky family moves back to Montreuil, (Paris suburbs) France in his early years.
During the mid 90's Wiky had in mind to bring in France a concept that took NY Hiphop to another level : The Mixtapes.
He started to mix the latest hits, alone in his bedroom and quickly gain a local success especially from his neighbors.
While getting his middle school degree he started to record some "home made" tapes. The "PIM PAM POUM" saga was born
He went gold several times and he even won a Grammy award. While he was established as a DJ he could focus on his other passion: Basketball.
He played at the highest level and was named NBA MVP in 1998 with a 33.5points per game average and finished with 45points in the decisive game. He gave the trophy to Michael Jordan because of their friendship.
Today he only focuses on his DJ career and gives you his PIM PAM POUM podcast where you'll find the best songs mixed with his own flavor.
